However ALL designers MUST be present at the rehearsal. The director will announce the final order of appearance during rehearsal. The order of appearance will be set according to what will produce the best presentation to create a versatile show and prevent quick changes for the models. Not being on time will result in loss of judging points.
During the show there are a maximum of 2 people, 1 designer and 1 assistant per dress allowed backstage.
There will be no electrical pumps or large units of equipment allowed backstage. There will be limited space so therefore only enough materials for small adjustments to the creations will be allowed
All models may wear many designs. For this reason designers should create their dresses or suits making it simple to put on and take off in a maximum of 10 minutes.
During the show Summer Balloon Camp will have several people to assist in helping the models to change costumes.
Body paint or explicit make up must be approved prior to the show. All
models will have the benefit of a professional hair stylist and make up artist.
The music and the choreography for the show are under the supervision of the show director. There will be no additional voice over or music done for any design.
A professional photographer will be taking pictures of each design and those who wish can purchase the pictures from Summer Balloon Camp.
As a finale to the show all designers will appear on stage with their creations for photo opportunities.
All designs submitted for consideration must meet a minimum level of professional presentation. Not every wearable is suitable for a fashion show presentation. Summer Balloon Camp and the Balloon Couture Fashion Show director will determine which questionnaire will be approved and allowed to participate in the fashion show. All submissions must be deemed of decent quality appropriate to be offered to a customer, with no X-rated qualities or an unfinished appearance.
