Balloon Camp

It is with a great deal of sadness and embarrassment that I have tell you that we have had to cancel this year’s event, Balloon Camp and Diamond Jam.

The economy along with new conventions, tours, and the many local seminars being held around the country the registrations for this year’s event fell far short of the necessary numbers needed to finance the event. With limited manufacturer support this year it became difficult to proceed.

We extend our appreciation to Pioneer, Anagram, Hi-Float, Conwin, Silver Rainbow, Balloon Weights and other smaller companies for stepping up to support our industry-wide event. They all recognized the need for the industry to come together, under one roof, to educate the professional balloonist. Their support over the last 8 years has been instrumental in bringing the industry together rather than only promoting their own interests. We thank and respect them for their efforts! Our thanks to Balloonhq and all those who keep communication in the industry open.

To all of the many Distributors, those who supported the event by displaying in the Product Showcase and those who help to promote the event, we thank you for all your efforts over the past years.

To all those who joined us over the years THANK YOU for your support and desire to improve your skills and have fun at the same time.
Although many in the industry fail to realize it, Education is important. There are many opportunities out there and we hope you will take advantage of as many chances as possible to support the industry and helping to promote your businesses. Please do not allow our misfortune to reflect on other events.

After 26 years in the industry and 8 years of the event we apologize for having to take this action. We are all in a great industry of fantastic people and we appreciate the friendships and relationships we have enjoyed. While we are against the wall now I know we will all meet again.

All the best
Dave Scott
